Our aims and purpose are to promote Portuguese Culture and Goodwill throughout the United States and the whole world.


Membership includes access to the following:

  • A library with information of Portugal or Portuguese related subjects: Biographies, Organizations, Churches, Histories, etc.

  • The Portuguese Around us Cook Book

  • The TV Cable Program "The Portuguese Around US" portraying role models, feast, events, etc.
  • A scholarship for children of members; sisters, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces or great-newphews of members. For members without family and member organizations, one applicant of their choice.

  • 2 bulletins published yearly.

  • Dinner meetings with subjects of Portuguese interest.

  • An Annual Congress featuring a Special topic of interest or concern to members.
